Ofrecemos a nuestros clientes productos de marca propia que alcanzan el más alto nivel de calidad y seguridad, desarrollados con respecto por el medioambiente.
Across our store brand products, we have the opportunity to provide transparency and drive sustainability through robust, responsible sourcing practices and packaging design.
Packaging sustainability and innovation
Millions of customers trust our store brand products to be safe, effective and high-quality, and packaging plays an important role in that trust. As expectations around sustainability and transparency evolve, we continue to refine how we approach store brand packaging design and sourcing.
As packaging regulations, infrastructure and material availability continues to change across states and markets, we have evolved our store brand packaging strategy to be more pragmatic and focused on impact. This updated strategy shifts our focus away from goals set before current state-level regulations on packaging and focuses our efforts in line with a more holistic enterprise plastic stewardship framework. We focus on where we can drive the most meaningful progress: advancing recyclability where possible, increasing recycled content when feasible and improving clear recycling guidance -while maintaining product safety, quality and compliance.

We are committed to transparency and accountability. We will continue to report on our enterprise plastic footprint and our progress toward these sustainability strategies annually.
Responsible sourcing
We are committed to delivering store brand products that uphold high standards of quality, safety and trust for the people who rely on us every day. This means working with our suppliers to strengthen sourcing practices, improve transparency and ensure that the development of our products supports the well-being of consumers, communities and the environment. By elevating expectations across our value chain, we advance healthier products and a more responsible supply chain to deliver reliable, affordable options without compromising on what matters most.
Palm oil
Some items in our store brands product portfolio contain palm oil. CVS Health has a publicly-facing palm oil sourcing policy that is shared with all store brand suppliers. It is our expectation that suppliers of products containing palm oil obtain Rainforest Alliance certification or Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) membership. When new store brand products containing palm oil or its derivatives are developed, suppliers must demonstrate proof of certification before their products can enter our supply chain.

Ingredient management
We are committed to advancing health and safety through our store brand supply chain by strengthening how we manage chemicals and ingredients that can impact people, communities and the environment. Working closely with our partners, we assess pesticide use and sourcing practices to identify opportunities to reduce risks to human health.
We have assessed pesticide use and practices in key categories in our private label supply chain in order to identify any opportunities to address ongoing threats to pollinators and human health. We strongly encourage all suppliers of our store brand food and beverage products to consider the practices laid out in our Política de polinizadores y control de plagas.
We maintain and annually update our store brand restricted chemical list (PDF). The list specifies ingredients prohibited from select baby and child, beauty, personal care, food, household and bottled water products. Through this work, we continue to enhance product safety, improve supply-chain practices and protect the systems that support healthy communities.
In 2025, we sharpened our beauty strategy by placing skincare and sun safety at the center. We eliminated CVS brand sunscreens below SPF 30, because dermatologists agree this level offers superior protection. We've also joined the "Sun Responsibly" initiative alongside other industry leaders.
